But I agree with you; eat real food. As such I have only two "rules" I try to live but. Avoid carbohydrates as much as possible and avoid processed food as much as possible.Otto von Münchowhttp://munchow.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6639676523379057364.post-2274094214503837562017-09-15T12:45:32.817-07:002017-09-15T12:45:32.817-07:00I'm not saying I'd make squid very often, ...I'm not saying I'd make squid very often, but it turned out good this time :)Linda Hensleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11929626735450807904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6639676523379057364.post-58507904568553900232017-09-12T07:10:22.398-07:002017-09-12T07:10:22.398-07:00Your groundhog got a girlfriend. I was just thinking about making soup for lunch. I have so many good veggies in the fridge. Glad I don't have any squid lurking in there though. You say, "I made a wonderful, accidental thing out of food I don't really like" - Haha! <br />But today's kids, yes. They want most everything to be quick and easy, including food. If only they'd learn from your (probably very fertile) groundhog.Abbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05853360875281742784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6639676523379057364.post-79128094412869369562017-09-10T05:24:05.877-07:002017-09-10T05:24:05.877-07:00I'm with you about the leaf coriander. Big business is wrecking food here, but then there are still some farmer's markets and I've managed to keep some of my garden from the groundhogs.Linda Hensleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11929626735450807904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6639676523379057364.post-1971525470217114752017-09-09T15:11:07.499-07:002017-09-09T15:11:07.499-07:00I totally agree with your assessment of modern foo...I totally agree with your assessment of modern food culture. There is really no particular produce I don't like (except maaaybe leaf coriander). But I live in the vegetable garden-bread basket-fish market of Japan-- Hokkaido-- which is famous for its flavorful vegetables and fresh fish. After my daughter came back home from college in the US, she gushed on and on about how much FLAVOR our veggies had compared to what she ate in America.dosankodebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357411708254011194noreply@blogger.com
